Happy hump day! I am back with a midweek distraction for you :) Let's talk about the classic trench. Originally an item of clothing for French and British army officers, the classic trench is both chic and very practical. Made of heavy duty waterproof cotton or leather, I can definitely use one here in New York because it has been raining and cold for the last couple of days. I have been on a hunt for the classic trench similar to the one that burberry makes with no luck (a cheaper version). I purchased this modern rendition of the classic trench a few years ago from Necessary Clothing, I absolutely love it. It is pretty to wear when it is not too cold because it does not keep you warm. I am rocking with it until I find the classic trench.
