Hey loves, I want to wish you all a happy, healthy and prosperous new year!!! Let's make 2016 the best year yet! I have been over the holidays madness about a week ago, week ago. (Never fails, I always start singing whenever I say a word or a phrase from a song) Focus Deb, focus!!! The statement I am about to make is nothing new but it finally registers in my mind and it annoys me - "The holidays are too comercialized". It feels like everybody is selling something. I hate being the little up and coming blogger telling people buy this buy that. I'm not a sales person I hate having that voice.
I cannot think of a New Year's eve outfit without sequin. I love this french connection number because even though it is gold it is not too loud because of the ombre effect. Some New Years Eve outfits can only be worn on New Years Eve but I feel that this dress can be worn for other occasion after the holidays. When I saw at Macy's Herald Square, I knew I had to have it.
I am a huge advocate for working with what's already in your closet. I thought I'd share a quick way you can spice up of your work attire for an office holiday party. This off white Calvin Klein tuxedo is one of my favorites. I simply added this red skinny tie from H&M for a touch of festive.
